Transition
Grundy Special Education Cooperative's Transition Program serves young adults ages 18–22 who continue to benefit from explicit, direct instruction as they prepare for life after high school. The TLC is located in a separate location within the Morris community. The program focuses on building independence through individualized instruction in daily living skills, community participation, vocational training, and functional academics. Students gain real-world experiences that strengthen self-advocacy, communication, employment readiness, and independent living skills. By partnering with families, community agencies, and local businesses, the Transition Program helps students develop the confidence and skills needed for a successful and meaningful adult life.
