Specialized support for individualized success

STARS

The STARS program is a structured, evidence-based program that provides individualized instruction in communication, behavior regulation, sensory support, and learner readiness skills. Grounded in autism best practices. STARS uses data-driven instruction, positive reinforcement, and systematic teaching strategies to promote functional skill development, independence, and engagement. A predictable learning environment and ongoing collaboration with caregivers and team members support consistency, skill generalization, and progress toward individualized goals.

The STARS program is housed at Saratoga Elementary School, Minooka Primary Center, Walnut Trails Elementary School, Minooka Intermediate School, and Minooka Junior High School, providing specialized support for students with autism across multiple grade levels.
